Reno Tahoe International Art Show 2026 - Sept 17-20

This year I was awarded a space by the Nevada Arts Council to represent the city, in the section "Heart of Reno."

I chose to display smaller pieces and tell stories through seven main colors: blue, orange, red, yellow, magenta, teal, and black.

Like last year, I got 2nd place in the "Heart of Reno" popular vote.

Vision Sciences Society 2026 - May 15-19

I flew to Florida to display my 3D artwork to scientists and researchers from all over the world who devote their lives to the functional aspects of vision.

Chromostereoscopic Art

“Come experience Stereoscopic Vision as never before through the Art of Bernardo MXKT. Discuss the principles of Chromostereopsis, the factors that maximize the quality of the experience and applications to the study of depth perception."

Reno Tahoe International Art Show 2025 - Sept 11–14

At this exhibit, I chose to display a series of 3D, non-static art.

Half of the paintings were displayed in a manner that encouraged viewers to rotate the artwork, in order to perceive the paintings in a non-traditional, non-linear manner — trying to instigate the viewer to perceive the paintings from more than one angle, maximizing the pareidolia and chromatic aberration effects.

I got 2nd place for the best show. (people’s choice)

The Generator maker space 2024 - july 18th through august 10th

“What do you see?”
The exhibit aimed to lead viewers on an intimate journey into their own subconscious through multiple layers of non-static visual perception.

By utilizing Chromadepth glasses and allowing the repositioning of artworks, it provided an additional stimulus for cognition and creativity. Prompting conscious and subconscious creative connections to emerge, evoking personal memories, feelings, and experiences.

Viewers were invited to contemplate the correlations between the emerging forms and fragments of their own history, encouraging a search for deeper and more personal meanings through abstract art.
